The 72" tool chest with pegboard and upper cabinets is best assembled with 2 people to lift, hold and bolt the major components together. The unit is not flat packed but there are some steps to follow:
STEP 1 - Unpack the box, the cardboard should lift upwards and off, this can then be used as floor mat when you need to lay the bench over to install the wheels.
STEP 2 - Remove protective covers and separate the components.
STEP 3 - Look in the drawers for the cardboard box containing wheels, handles and bolts. Keys will also be in the drawers.
STEP 4 - Install the handles at each end (before laying the bench over :) as these make it easy to move the bench.
STEP 5 - Note there are 2 wheels that swivel and 2 that are fixed.
STEP 6 - Bolt the 2 swivel wheels on one end and the 2 fixed at the other end, it is not important which end is which as long as they go as pairs.
STEP 7 - Lift the cabinet upright using the handles and peel the protection from the rear of the cabinet as we mount the vertical pillars there.
STEP 8 - The vertical pillars use eyelet mounts so you can half screw in the bolts into the back the units and then slide the pillars over the bolts into position. Do not tighten the bolts and study the pillar eyelet mounts to know which is up and which is down direction.
STEP 9 - Lightly tighten the bolts so the pillars have some movement still.
STEP 10 - Examine the pegboard and note the access holes should be at the bottom when installed.
STEP 11 - Lightly bolt the pegboard onto the pillars, we only tighten at the last stage.
STEP 12 - Protect the benchtop with some cardboard, you can half mount a few bolts onto the cabinet to hang onto the pillars and then lift the overhead cabinet piece into position and screw in all bolts.
STEP 13 - Tighten all bolts and move into position.
